Newarking was born out of a desire to collect and share some information about the past, present, and future of Newark, Delaware.

Its editor, Bill Slawski, lives in Newark, Delaware, and is a graduate of the University of Delaware. He is the president of an internet marketing firm, SEO by the Sea, Inc., and has been building web sites, and working with HTML since 1996. He’s interested in local history, outsider art, music of all types, computers, and the law.

The writers at Newarking also include Alan Coffey, Eric Hebert, and John Berry who all live within Newark, Delaware.

The star of the blog itself is the unusual town and community of Newark, Delaware, and we hope to capture some of the uniqueness of the City here.
